gaytube: the cult of Gondry

One of my favourite FRENCH (I knew that, sorry Wayne, and all the French I inadvertantly offended)film directors is Michel Gondry. I love his zany, whimsical, left of centre, left of left, amazing, brilliant, entertaining, engaging, etc. films. He has an amazing mind and is soon to release another great work onto the masses, of which I'm sure very few people will see, as opposed to recycled trash like Mission Impossible 3. 'The Science of Sleep' starring hottie hottie hottie Gael Garcia Bernal and gorgeous Charlotte Gainsbourg, daughter of Serge Gainsbourgh, a musical genius. A little (gay) trivia for all the Madonna fans:

The words spoken at the beginning of Madonna's 'What it feels like for a girl'
(2001) is actually a line that Charlotte said in "The Cement Garden".

'The Science of Sleep' is about

A man held captive by the people in his dreams tries to wake himself up and take
control of his own imaginings...
Life seems to be looking up for shy and withdrawn Stephane (Gael Garcia Bernal) when he is coaxed to return to his childhood home in France by his mother with the promise of a job. Wildly creative, his fanciful and sometimes disturbing dream life constantly threatens to usurp his waking world. But his joy is muted when he discovers that the job is actually a mundane copy setting position in a tiny office with three co-workers, including one (Alain Chabat) hungry for someone to entertain him and a boss who would prefer to be perpetually left alone.
