If you're looking to capture videos from places like youtube, or dailymotion etc, one way I know how of doing it is to visit http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
and they've got everything you need to know posted on the page. You basically enter the video url into the appropriate place, select where the video is from, ie youtube, and hit 'download'. Simple. However, you then need to 'save target as' and save it as '.flv'. Which means, unless you re-upload it to youtube or somewhere, you'll need an .flv player to view it...and that's about all I know about that...If anyone else has any suggestions for saving videos to personal files, as per a readers request...please leave a comment!
